I’m sorry for not posting this sooner. There was not a new comic posted today and there will not be one posted tomorrow.Last Thursday night my grandmother Mary Bond Jennings Lovelace passed away at the age of 99.It wasn’t comepletely unexpected but still sudden and shocking. She was a good woman, who loved God,and had a brilliant sense of humor. She was blessed with her full mind and ability to make others laugh right up until the end.She was blessed with 6 children,20 grandchildren, several Great-grandchildren and even a few Great-great-grandchildren and nearly everyone got to see her before she passed.
Since then the comic has taken a backseat to funeral preperations and family commitments,so I was unable to prep a comic for today or tomorrow having burned through my buffer going to Intervention(and I’ll have that report later this week).I had posted about her passing on Facebook and Twitter over the weekend but only realised today I hadn’t mentioned it on the site.I haven’t forgotten you guys and I still love the strip and I’m excited about where it’s going, but I neede a few days to get my life back together. So the murder mystery will pick up wednesday and I’ll run Monday-Saturday until I make up the missed days.
On another note I’d like to thank all the people(fans, creators, internet buddies, etc….)who have given me their thoughts, prayers, condolences, and support the last few days. It’s meant more than I can put into words and I owe all of you a huge debt. Thanks
Travis Surber

Sorry to hear about your loss. Take care of yourself, man.
Sorry for your loss. No matter how long we have them we are not ready for them to leave us. Thankfully the separation doesn’t have to be permanent.
Travis,
If it were possible, I would be there with you and Jennifer during this. Do what needs to be done. I won’t stop reading because you miss a couple of days due to a tragedy in your family.
Hey Travis… my apologies for not seeing this sooner. My condolences on your grandmother. I hope you are doing okay now that it’s been a few weeks since her passing. Here’s hoping your sad thoughts have now progressed into more positive feelings and memories of her life.
Thanks. It’s still one day at a time but it’s getting better.
