I’m just excited about this year’s Mysticon. I’m going to be there, and so is Peter Davison, Orson Scott Card, and many other creative, exciting people. If you haven’t made plans to attend yet then do so. Check out all the cool things planned that weekend (Feb 22-24) over at http://mysticon-va.com/ or their Facebook page.
Don’t forget if You’re in Bluefield West Virginia to check out Rising Star Con http://www.rising-star.org/ at the Harris Jefferson Student Center at Bluefield State College. Unfortunately this year I can only be there Saturday, but they’re all wonderful folks and if possible YOU should attend both days. See you there, Haints.
For those that don’t know Shogun Warriors was a line of toys based on a television mini-series from the 80′s starring Jane Seymour and Richard Chamberlin about a Christian Missionary trying to convert Kaiju by defeating them with his giant mecha.I think the toy I had was Jane Seymour’s machine.
I had the Shogun Warrior that shot his fist.I think it was the one that was later used for the Tranzor Z cartoon.(yes I know it was Manzinger Z,but the cartoon I watched was TRANZOR Z.)I also had the Godzilla, and Rodan toys and made them fight my mecha and the Kraken from Clash of the Titans.
I can’t think of a better day to end the battle on.(except maybe St. Entwhistle’s day,but I’m not sure what day that is this year.)
